One-Way Motorhome and Campervan trips in Europe

One question we get all the time is about one-way trips; can they be done, and what are the possible destinations?

 

A one-way trip is where you pick up the motorhome or RV in one location, and drop it back to a different location. Both locations can be within the same country, or the dropoff location can be in a different country.

 

A one-way campervan trip is usually going to be expensive, as the hiring company has to arrange for collection and repatriation of the motorhome at the end of the trip. This usually involves flying a company driver out to the dropoff location, possible hotel stays, and the time and fuel costs for this service.

 

Campervan hire is a very different business to car hire, as there are far fewer vehicles available for hire. In addition, all the companies involved are autonomous, and do not have depots in different countries. Our intelligent motorhome quotation and booking software allows you to find out whether or not there are one way trips available. Simply choose your pickup location, and the system will show you a list of valid dropoff locations. You can then proceed to generate a quote which will include the cost of the one-way service.

 

Please note that, due to the reasons above, one-way bookings are on request only. In addition we would request they be made as far in advance as possible.
