Fuerteventura is a holiday resort of sun, sea and sand. It's long been popular as an island paradise, with vast, golden beaches washed by the blue waters surronding the Canary Islands. It has also long been known for it's famous nightlife scene, popular with tourists from both the African and European mainlands. With 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, it makes a popular escape from winter! Fuerteventura has a number of particular resorts, including Corralejo, where we also hire motorhomes.

Beach and watersports are very popular around the island, unsurprisingly, really! Surfing, windsurfing, kiting, deep sea diving, scuba diving and deep sea fishing are all popular, and in the summer, the island hosts world windsurfing and slalom events.

Eating out is a popular choice for any meal around the towns, with a fine selection of eateries. In Corralejo, and other reports, there are a number of popular restaurants and cafes on the beach itself! A night out is enjoyable, with a very active nightlife scene for those that want to party, and a good pubscene for others, ranging from local Canarian pubs, to English, Irish and German pubs in various areas.

You can explore the island in your motorhome, or else take the ferry to see the other islands in this beautiful chain.You can also travel to the mainland and take your RV-campervan anywhere in the EU. (Be aware that the costs of ferries to and from the mainland can be expensive, however). Wherever you decide to go, your holiday will be memorable in your motorhome, and you'll likely want to come again!
