Verona Airport (Valerio Catullo di Verona Villafranca), is generally referred to as ‘Verona-Villafranca’ (likely to the relief of tourists!). It was originally a military airport, and the western part is still used by the Italian Air Force.
From the city you can take the ‘Verona Nord’ exit from highway A22 and follow the signs to the airport. The airport is accessible from Brescia via the A4, exit Sommacampagna. It is about 12km south of Verona City Centre.
