Barcelona Girona Airport is located approximately 100km (64 miles) north-east of Barcelona. It is also called Girona Costa Brava Airport (GRO).
Some budget airlines call Girona Airport "Barcelona Airport", but this is incorrect, as the main
International Airport is called El Prat, and is just south of Barcelona city centre.
The most convenient way to get to Barcelona city centre is to get the bus which is located outside the terminal building. Tickets cannot be booked in advance and timetables are coordinated with airline timetables.
